Why I Became a TheraPist
Before I ever sat in a therapist’s chair as a professional, I sat in waiting rooms as a mom; confused, overwhelmed, and just hoping someone would truly see what was going on with my kids. I didn’t know then that the road I was on would lead me here. I just knew I had to keep going.
If you’re a parent trying to make sense of an invisible battle, or someone carrying wounds no one else can see, I want you to know you’re not alone.
These days, I work with adolescents, adults, and families facing things like trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, self-harm, neurodivergence, and emotional overwhelm. But more than anything, I get it.
If you’re a parent fighting an invisible battle, or an individual carrying wounds no one can see. I want you to know: you’re not alone.

I know how isolating this journey can be. I know how helpless it feels to watch someone you love struggle and not know what to do. Along the way, I’ve learned a few things:
- Invisible struggles are just as real as the ones you can see
- Healing starts with being seen and heard, not judged
- The right kind of support can make a world of difference
- I didn’t become a therapist just because I was trained for it. I became one because I’ve lived it.
Back then, I didn’t know this road would lead me here. I just knew I had to keep walking it.
To the Parent Who’s Still Fighting
If you’re reading this and thinking that sounds like my family please hear me:
You don’t need to have it all figured out
You’re not weak or failing for needing help
And you don’t have to keep doing this on your own
Whether you’re looking for therapy for yourself, your teen, or your whole family this is a place for you. I know what it’s like to carry the pain and the fear because I’ve carried it too.
To the Child, Teen, or Adult Who’s Struggling
I see you. I’ve walked beside my own kids through really hard things, and I’ve sat with others like you.
Things might feel heavy right now. You might feel misunderstood, angry, exhausted, numb, or maybe you’re not even sure what you’re feeling. That’s okay.
This is a space where you get to be real, where you’ll be heard, and where you’ll be supported while you figure things out.
You are not broken. No matter where you are in your story, I’m here to walk with you.
